The first alien to visit earth since the dawn of man, and what do I do?

Seriously, if anyone out there has any idea what this is, I would like to know.

I showed this picture to a marine biologist, but she didn't have a clue what it was.

It didn't squirm or scream when I poked it, so either it was dead or just pretending to be asleep so I would take my stick and go elsewhere...

It has proper organs and an ass in both ends, so it must be highly intelligent.
